Membership

Anyone living in Stocksfield, or surrounding parishes, can join the Association, around 300 households are currently members. Benefits of Membership include subscription to our monthly SCAN magazine. Individual, couples and family memberships are available.

Many of the local groups who use the Community Centre are 'affiliated members' which gives the group membership rights similar to those of individual members.

What does the Community Association do?

  • SCA provides local residents with the opportunity and facilities to enjoy a wide range of leisure, recreational and educational facilities.
  • SCA produces a monthly magazine to keep members informed about activities at the Community Centre and elsewhere in the parish.
  • SCA hires out rooms and equipment.
  • SCA maintains close links with the Parish and County Councils.
  • SCA is affiliated to Community Action Northumberland and a member of the West Northumberland Community Building Consortium.
